When we understand the purpose of these events it becomes easier to accept these events in and handle them in our life.

Meet the instructor:

Salam I am Maryam!

I am from LA and grew up in the States. I studied accounting in college and worked at an Islamic school after graduating. After teaching at an Islamic school I moved to Iran and started to study in the huwza. I majored in Islamic philosophy while studying psychology and tibb sunnati (eastern medicine) on the side. I been in Iran for the past 7 years.

When I was 25 my only brother passed away. I was crushed and broken. But I had to learn how to handle all the emotions and thoughts that came with it. It wasn’t easy and if you’re struggling with hardships in your life I get you. I am here to tell you, you’re not alone and all of us are struggling.

Going through loss and difficulties is very hard. I am not here to tell you otherwise. But it can become easier to handle when we know what to do with our thoughts and emotions. Many of times we judge ourselves for feeling sad, angry and etc and I am here to tell you that's a mistake. Emotions make us human. Emotions aren't meant to be judged but to be . Emotions tell us loads about ourselves and we can learn from them.

I am here to tell you, you’re not alone in your struggles. and we all experience difficulties within our life. Alhamduliah there are ways to help ourselves deal with difficulty. Studying Islam, Islamic philosophy and psychology has given me the tools to teach you how to handle difficulties.

I know these are hard times and many people are struggling economically. I don't want to cause hardship on anyone. If you're struggling financially and can’t afford this workshop you can use the following discount code to waive the fee: yafatemah110
